Herbert's Horizon of Hope supports those often marginalized and coping with former incarceration and mental health. Training and support are offered free of charge.

At Herbert's Horizon of Hope, our vision is to create a community where mental health and the formally incarcerated are the top priority. Individuals access the resources they need to achieve optimal well-being, including.

Our Family Support

Personal and Zoom meetings are there to listen and discuss what it is like to be a family member coping with incarceration or release. How can the family help upon reentry, reducing community recidivism.

Prison Art

Those inside who wish to have their art copied and sold as note cards have the opportunities where the proceeds are sent to a family member. It is a way to let the help out from the inside out.

Community Outreach

Transitioning high school students gain job transition skills through work tasks, including packaging.

We take a supportive approach to mental health, addressing not only the individual needs but also the becoming aware of triggers factors impacting employment and other areas of everyday life. Some may be involved with the job experience
