We Are Herbert's

Carolyn Herbert had an idea in 2016 to make a small difference in the world of second chances.   With a background of serving children and young adults coping with mental health in today's world, led directly to working with adults.  Herbert's began with the mission of making excellent and unique products, with the formerly incarcerated being training to become managers.  This has only grown into a wide varieties ways of helping individuals and communities work together to reduce recidivism and increase hope and joy in others.  

At Herberts Wine Jelly, LLC, we pride ourselves on using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients in all of our creations. We use locally sourced fruits and spices to maintain our highest standard of flavor and nutrition.   All other ingredients are sourced from reputable companies adhering to vegan, kosher, and gluten free as possible.

We use local wines and a proprietary method to remove the alcohol and maintain the flavor.  We return the fruit notes of the wine with juice for flavor that is initially    Our jellies are 0.001% alcohol, make it significantly below the standard for non-alcoholic approval.   Alcohol does not cook out of wine.   Our process allows us to legally sell our product in Virginia.

Try our Black Cherry Cab Franc on a hamburger or over meatloaf, while our raspberry rose is great melted as a salad dressing.

Our flavors enhance the the everyday delight.   Try it heated and spread on brownies, ice cream, or in your favorite cookie recipe.

Our herb spices are easily used as a seasoning on meats, vegetables, as a rub or marinade when mixed with oil, or as a dip with your favorite chip or bread.   Our infused salts and pepper make seasoning a meal just enough unique to may your friends question why the meal tastes more interesting.
